Michael Ormiston is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in Mongolian
Khöömii (Overtone). He principally studied in 1993 with Tserendaava,
a master
teacher from Chandman' district, Khovd Province, west Mongolia.
Tserendaava & khöömiich Gereltsogt have blessed Michael
to teach the basics of khöömii.
Michael has an extensive collection of Mongolian musical instruments,
most of which he will play at the concert.

Michael's authentic Mongolian overtone singing and Tibetan Singing Bowls
have been heard in concert by H.H. the Dalai Lama, the Prime
Minister of
the Tibetan Government in Exile, Khamba Lam Choijamtpts, Head
Abbot of
Ganden Monastery, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia, and audiences worldwide.
