HAGGLEBAG:
Formed in 1995 in Worcester, this energetic
(and sometimes anarchic)
5-piece Band has rapidly developed an enthusiastic following via gigs and
festivals in the UK. Following two appearances at Denmarks 2004 Tonder
Festival, they also perform regularly in Denmark & Sweden. Influences
are diverse, from arrangements of traditional and Irish tunes to contemporary
songs; Pogues, Great Big Sea, Sharon Shannon, Steve Earle etc. Fronted by
the irrepressible Mick Morris on Double Bass & Vocals, the band
features Lorna Davies Flute; Liam Finch Tenor
/ 5 string Banjos & Mandolin; Mark Westcott Melodeons
/ Triangle and Nick Simon - Guitar / Vocals.
MALTHOUSE PASSAGE:
A 5-piece folk band performing foot-stomping & infectious Traditional
and original English, Celtic and European songs and tunes full of rhythmic
drive & energy, ranging from medieval times right through to the 21st
century. Theyve played many festivals including Wychwood, Bromyard,
Saul, Chippenham, Cheltenham, and St.Etienne and
Lalinde in France. Featuring: Lisa Warburton - Hammered
Dulcimer/Percussion /Vocals; Dave Young - Melodeon/Anglo Concertina/Whistle;
Cathy Rollo - Clarinet/Bass Clarinet /Recorders /Whistles; Nick
Simon - Bass & Acoustic Guitars /Cuatro /Vocals; Alan Courtney
- Vocals/Acoustic/ Electric Guitars/ Mandola.

AC/BC:
AC/BC are a recently formed five piece supergroup that combines
the talents of Jackie Gardener, Alan Courtney and John
Williams of Malvern folk 3-piece, Set em up Joe,
along with Dave Young and Nick Simon from Malthouse Passage.
A brilliant mix of folk music classics, blues & more with wonderful
vocals from Jackie, backed up by guitars, violin, bass, drums, concertina
and vocal harmonies.
STOMPIN ON SPIDERS:
Two stalwarts of the Midlands music scene, Garry Tolly &
Noor Ali, recently combined their respective talents to play blues,
jazz & soul inspired original material along with sympathetically reworked
covers. They received world wide coverage via an internet broadcast from
the 2010 Worcester Music Festival, and have recorded a 9-track showcase
album, available now.
RAY STROUD:
A talented singer/guitar player, performing self-penned songs and quality
covers across a variety of styles including: folk, ragtime, bluegrass and
jazz. Rays influences include: Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Ralph
McTell, Paul Simon, James Taylor plus folk performers like John Renbourn.
Faultless playing and wonderful songs. Expect an
